Component Assembly- Position, align, and join parts using manual dexterity, hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches), or power equipment (drills, rivet guns, presses). Quality Control & Inspection- Examine finished parts or subassemblies for defects, perform basic functional tests, and take precision measurements to ensure pieces meet quality specifications. Material Preparation- Gather, sort, and organize necessary raw materials, fasteners, and components before starting a build cycle. Machine Operation- Set up, calibrate, or monitor basic production machinery or automated tools on the assembly line. Defect Reporting & Troubleshooting- Identify faulty parts or malfunctioning equipment and report issues to production supervisors or quality assurance leads. Logistics & Packaging: Clean, tag, label, and package completed assemblies for storage or shipment using hoists, hand trucks, or pallet jacks. Safety & Workplace Maintenance: Follow safety guidelines including personal protective equipment (PPE) rules and lockout/tagout procedures while keeping work stations clean and organized.
