This pivotal position is responsible for delivering HR support to both hourly and salaried employees, operating within a dynamic facility environment. Develops and oversees employee recognition and engagement programs. Prepares and maintains internal employee communications. Conducts investigations, recommends resolutions, and assists with disciplinary actions. Performs exit interviews and provides management with feedback on trends. Leads non-exempt recruitment, including strategy development, applicant selection, interviewing support, and managing the onboarding process. Oversees internal job postings and partners with temporary staffing agencies. Maintains HR records (automated and manual) and oversees clerical staff. Ensures compliance with record management and audits data integrity. Manages local leaves of absence in collaboration with third parties and corporate HR. Prepares unemployment hearing documentation and advises on legal/policy compliance. Manages non-exempt HR staff timekeeping and leads HR projects. Assists HR Manager with budget preparation and expenditure reports. Develops and delivers HR leadership training (interviewing, EEO, diversity, FLSA, policies). Manages facility certification programs, performance management, learning plans, and learning platform participation. Monitors and advises on compliance with state/Federal employment law and Company policy. Provides compliance orientation to new employees and maintains required employment posters.
