This role is the administrative and coordination lead for daily operations within the Processing Complex. You will act as the crucial link between floor-level execution and strategic management, ensuring processing schedules, compliance standards, documentation, and labor plans are executed accurately and efficiently. This is a developmental position designed to prepare future Processing Managers through direct exposure to scheduling, compliance oversight, and cross-site coordination.salary: $58,000 - $64,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities Operations & Scheduling: Manage daily/weekly processing schedules and staff assignments. Track production targets and dashboard metrics. Compliance & Audit: Serve as the primary documentation lead for USDA, sanitation, and food safety standards. Act as the key point of contact during audits when the manager is absent. Reporting & Administration: Compile and submit all daily/shift documentation (labor, downtime, performance) and production summaries to leadership. Ensure compliance training records are complete. Team Leadership: Conduct check-ins, provide coaching to Leads, and support onboarding. Partner with the manager on labor forecasting and staffing. Must-Haves Minimum 2 years experience in food processing/production, including prior Lead or Supervisor role. Administrative, documentation, and organizational skills. Familiarity with USDA, SOPs, and sanitation requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and digital reporting. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Key Details Work Environment: Office/production floor combination; temperature-variable; rotational site assignments. Preferred: (Spanish/English), audit experience, or a degree in a related field (e.g., Food Science, Operations).
