Our food manufacturing client in Carson is currently hiring a Supply Chain Administrator to asisst with the daily operations for the team.salary: $22 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: Coordinate with off-site logistics centers, supplier and vendors to meet deadlines and track all shipments Identifies any Customer service issues and takes appropriate action. Checks the delivery status with the carriers and ensures all delivery will occur on time and escalate if any issues are to occur. Establish and maintain logistics procedures and systems and ensure compliance with regulations and laws. Liaises with carriers and monitors all deliveries to our customers are on time in full. Makes/co-ordinates delivery appointments where applicable. Liaises third party warehouses and monitors expected collections occur. Creates Purchase orders Manages customer expectations set. Different reporting requirements per each customer. Book transport as soon as sales order is generated. Complete KPI’s reports as applicable Creates sales order on day receipted Any other tasks determined by Manager Provides departmental assistance as needed Reports all issues and problems to Manager Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Report any injury or accident and/or any unsafe condition to supervisor or safety department Performs only job functions that they have been trained on and fully understand. Is punctual, on time, and adheres to company attendance policies.
