Our food manufacturing client in Carson is currently hiring a Supply Chain Administrator to asisst with the daily operations for the team.salary: $22 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:  Coordinate with off-site logistics centers, supplier and vendors to meet deadlines and track all shipments  Identifies any Customer service issues and takes appropriate action.  Checks the delivery status with the carriers and ensures all delivery will occur on time and escalate if any issues are to occur.  Establish and maintain logistics procedures and systems and ensure compliance with regulations and laws.  Liaises with carriers and monitors all deliveries to our customers are on time in full.  Makes/co-ordinates delivery appointments where applicable.  Liaises third party warehouses and monitors expected collections occur.  Creates Purchase orders  Manages customer expectations set. Different reporting requirements per each customer.  Book transport as soon as sales order is generated.  Complete KPI’s reports as applicable  Creates sales order on day receipted  Any other tasks determined by Manager  Provides departmental assistance as needed  Reports all issues and problems to Manager  Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training.  Report any injury or accident and/or any unsafe condition to supervisor or safety department  Performs only job functions that they have been trained on and fully understand.  Is punctual, on time, and adheres to company attendance policies.
