Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative and emergency repairs on industrial ovens, mixers, coolers, conveyor lines, and high-pressure steam systems. Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with electric motors, motor controls, device controls, and PLC-controlled equipment. Fabrication: Perform gas and arc welding, as well as soldering for structural and mechanical repairs. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF standards, and OSHA regulations (including Lockout/Tagout, Hot Works, and Confined Space). ## Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in a food manufacturing or high-speed production environment. Technical Skills: * Proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals and blueprints. Basic computer skills for documenting work orders. Physical & Schedule: Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment and work off ground level with safety equipment. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays. Must pass the Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or higher. ## Shift & Compensation Primary Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Monday–Friday (plus weekends as needed).
