What You’ll Do: As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. You’ll: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to keep production rolling. Dive into detailed diagrams, schematics, and PLC logic to diagnose and fix equipment issues. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Work with vendors, order parts, and manage repairs from start to finish. Maintain our facility inside and out—from production machinery to plumbing to the parking lot. Lead and supervise janitorial and cleaning staff as needed. Keep accurate records of repairs, parts, and maintenance activities. ️ What You Bring: 5–10 years of hands-on maintenance experience. Familiarity with metal fabrication machinery like stamping presses, roll formers, welders, etc. strong skills in reading mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and PLC programs. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic computer literacy (email, internet search, etc.) Spanish-speaking ability? Even better! Troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical breakdowns, makes timely repairs to minimize and/or and prevent re-occurrences 2. Diagnosis sources of potential problems and takes action so as to prevent breakdowns 3. Performs preventive maintenance activities to minimize un-planned downtime of machinery and equipment Maintains an inventory of critical spare parts so as to maximize machinery and equipment uptime 4. Recommends repairs/replacement to machinery, support equipment, buildings and grounds 5. Maintains a group of contacts and subcontractors who are available, on short notice, to assist with more specialized, technical and/or emergency situations. 6. Using electrical diagrams (or tracing wires) analyzes and repairs electrical control circuits 7. Interprets programmable logic controllers (PLC) logic and uses the information and knowledge to diagnose and repair control problems 8. Maintains building interiors and exteriors including exterior grounds, i.e., landscaping, snow removal, parking lots, etc. 9. Supervises maintenance, janitorial staff and subcontracted office cleaning staff 10.
