job summary: Responsibilities: Key Duties and Responsibilities could include Performs hardware installation & decommission of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructureTroubleshoots and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructureMonitors security information and event management (SIEM) system for anomalies and take appropriate action when necessaryRacks and stacks of data center equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, monitoring systems and other equipmentRack installation includes putting racks in place, cables, power up and hand off servers to internal provisioning teamsMonitor all mechanical and electrical systems including but not limited to: HVAC/CRAC, chillers, air handlers, UPS, switchgear, stand by generators, clean agent fire protection systems, sprinkler and fire detection systems, Building Automation System (BAS)Documents and modifies standard operating procedures for the data centerSupports the inventory process by keeping track of order replacement parts and return failed parts as requiredInstalls structured cabling, performs labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber, copper, and telecom cablesManages datacenter power utilization by properly maintaining phase balance in cabinetsConduct regular walkthrough of electrical and mechanical plant and raised floor areaSchedules maintenance windows for data center deployments, following all change management processesPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards.
