job summary: A Meter Lab Electrician is needed for a world class utility company in the Canton, OH area. This role involves inspecting, testing, programming, servicing, and preparing measurement equipment, such as meters and instrument transformers, while also assisting in maintenance, inventory management, record-keeping, and providing support and training to other employees as needed. location: Canton, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $18.08 - 24.72 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Receive, inspect, test, adjust, clean, repair, and replace parts of single-phase and polyphase meters, making incidental calculations.Test, adjust, repair, and program all types of single-phase, network, and polyphase meters.Assist in testing and maintaining electronic metering equipment as assigned.Monitor company inventory and assist in maintaining adequate stock of meters and other equipment.Participate in annual physical meter inventory.Assist in testing load research, time of use, electronic data recorders, and more complex electronic metering equipment.Mount and wire meters, metering equipment, and instrument transformers.Assist in testing instrument transformers.
