This is a chance to be a true thought leader, driving innovation and implementing best practices in a fast-paced, location: Richardson, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $130,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Strategic Architecture & Design: Own the overall technical architecture and design for the SAP S/4HANA EWM system and its integrations with ERP, TMS, and other key platforms.Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Be accountable for the delivery of robust and scalable EWM solutions, championing continuous improvement principles and practices.Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor development teams in software development methodologies, processes, and implementation.Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with diverse technical and business stakeholders, translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyze complex business challenges, formulate innovative solutions, and drive their implementation within the EWM landscape.Process Optimization: Define, test, implement, and support optimized warehouse processes within the SAP EWM system, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Project Management & Leadership: Lead project teams, managing project plans, scope, risks, and resources effectively.Technical Documentation & Best Practices: Develop comprehensive documentation for major processes and development milestones, while staying abreast of technology trends and industry best practices.Strategic Alignment: Ensure all EWM solutions align with the overall IT long-term strategy and enterprise architecture guidelines. #LI-AR2 qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing SAP EWM solutions.5+ years of functional experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management, including 2-3 end-to-end implementations on SAP S/4HANA EWM.Deep understanding of SAP EWM Master Data integrations and core warehouse processes (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Movements).Proven ability to configure key EWM features, including complex storage types, put-away/stock removal strategies (utilizing BADI or custom development), handling unit management, wave management, internal warehouse processes (replenishment, cycle counting, physical inventory), cross-process settings, exception handling (custom development), post-processing framework, queue/task management, and RF mobile data entry (custom RF transactions on ITS mobile).Solid knowledge of EWM integration with ECC Logistics Execution and Inventory Management. skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle highly complex issues.Experience in translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.Familiarity with software development/architecture principles and enterprise application/information architecture methodologies.Experience working with various development tools, design standards, best practices, and architecture frameworks.Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing timelines and priorities.
