job summary: Our GC client is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to support a project in Virginia Beach. This role is critical to ensuring all construction activities meet project specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards. The QC Manager will work closely with project leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to drive quality compliance throughout all phases of construction. This is a highly visible role offering long-term stability, a team first culture, and future project opportunities. location: VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Review and manage project submittals to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.Perform on-site quality inspections and implement the Three Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up).Lead preparatory meetings and coordinate directly with superintendents and subcontractors to prevent rework.Identify quality issues early and drive corrective actions to maintain project standards and schedules.Maintain accurate QC documentation, inspection logs, and compliance records.
