job summary: We are seeking an entry / junior level CAD Designer to create and provide detailed commercial drawings, plans, schematics, and/or models based on customer expectations. This role will work with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements and local codes in coordination with external consultants, and external and internal sales teams. Continues familiarity and knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures location: SMYRNA, TENNESSEE job type: Contract salary: $23 - 24 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare scale remodel and new construction kitchen proposal drawings, documentation, 3d models, and 2D plans for review by customer for operational consideration.Prepare scale existing condition (as-built) drawings, documentation, 3D models and 2D plans by converting data collected on-site by advanced site capturing methods including but not limited to: laser scanning, point clouds, asset data information, photos, and floor plan sketches.Plot drawings for internal and external project consultants, team members, owners, and stakeholders.Maintain strict CAD drawing standards.Logs drawings and database entries as required.Participate in team discussions to ensure team alignment and group consensus on SOP's and WI's.Coordinate kitchen layouts with external consultants of all trades and other areas of expertise.May work with local municipalities to ensure drawings meet local codes when necessary.Coordinate projects with external and internal project teams to ensure drawings are completed on schedule and per customer's requirements.Interact frequently with internal and external customers throughout the design and development process.Maintain existing relationships, and promotes new relationships with internal and external customers, consultants, installers, contractors, and AHJ.Acts as technical liaison of equipment, layouts, and operations for external contractors, architects, installers and AHJ.May participate in the development and maintenance of department SOPs and WIsMay participate in development and maintenance of symbol libraries and drawing templates for all accounts in all drawing platforms as required.Reliable attendance is required.Other duties as assigned. qualifications: Experience level: Entry LevelEducation: High School skills: CADAutoCAD (1 year of experience is required)REVIT (1 year of experience is preferred)3D Modeling (1 year of experience is preferred)2D Planning (1 year of experience is preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Randstad Digital, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
