Responsibilities Conduct root cause analysis using the 5 Why method to identify and resolve production issues. Perform mechanical troubleshooting on injection molding machines and related equipment. Ensure compliance with AS9100 and AS9102 standards throughout production processes. Implement Kaizen initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste. Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process quality and efficiency. salary: $62,500 - $73,000 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 3:30 PM - 12 AMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Ensure the molding process runs in accordance with established processing requirements. Set up molds and troubleshoot injection molding processes with minimal supervision. Assist in coordinating daily activities of production workers operating plastic molding equipment. Work collaboratively with other Shift Supervisors and Mold Technicians to manage shift operations. Provide direction and coaching to production team leaders, cell leaders, operators, and materials personnel. Review the master schedule to plan and direct daily production, ensuring quality and production goals are met. Monitor and drive key productivity metrics such as scrap, utilization, and cycle time adherence. Verify that machines are operating within approved cycle times using correct work orders and cycle sheets. Enforce safety procedures, production standards, and good housekeeping practices. Inspect molded products to verify conformance to specifications and support adjustments as needed. Ensure timely and accurate entry of downtime and scrap codes into IQMS or other production systems. Qualifications: Proven experience in a plastic injection molding environment. strong troubleshooting and mold setup skills. Familiarity with various molding machines, resins, and processing equipment. Experience using manufacturing ERP systems (IQMS preferred).
