High School Diploma or GED, and one of the following: 2-year or 4-year degree, or a certificate from a technical or trade school with coursework in electric power, power generation, or industrial operations. Military or merchant marine experience in power distribution, generation, or industrial facilities operations. 2 years of experience as an industrial Facilities Technician or Facilities Engineer. A combination of schooling and training that satisfies the above criteria. salary: $58,240 - $62,400 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Perform or assist with maintenance inspection routes, monitor equipment, read gauges/meters, record data in operational logs, and report any abnormal conditions or alarms. Perform or assist with maintenance and operational tasks on electrical infrastructure equipment safely and efficiently, including cleaning and wiping down critical equipment. Assist with operations (start/stop, open/close) on large equipment, including standby generators and electrical switchgear (480V & 21,000V), once trained and qualified. Adhere to all company procedures and policies, including Lock-Out-Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, start-up and shut-down procedures, and facility security protocols. Regularly clean assigned workspaces and equipment. Assist with maintaining adequate parts and consumables inventories. Meet and maintain corporate administrative requirements, including completing designated online training. Provide support for facilities maintenance, repair, and infrastructure operations. Provide on-call support for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shifts as required. Report deficiencies, abnormalities, and alarms that could indicate or cause damage to critical infrastructure equipment to the Supervisor or Manager.
