If you're a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and a commitment to quality, we encourage you to apply. location: Seattle, Washington job type: Contract salary: $35 - 40 per hour work hours: 11 to 7 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Specimen Handling & Analysis: Accurately handle and process specimens, perform test analyses using approved procedures, and ensure the proper reporting and maintenance of patient test results.Quality Control & Compliance: Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, meticulously document all QC activities, instrument calibrations, and maintenance. Maintain strict compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues that may impact test performance or result reporting, escalating complex problems to senior technologists or supervisors as needed. Document all corrective actions.Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of all testing performed, proficiency testing samples, and ensure proper labeling and dating of reagents and test kits.Communication & Support: Effectively communicate STAT and critical results to clients.
