job summary: JOB DESCRIPTION: Randstad Technologies is seeking a self-motivated and highly skilled Systems Analyst / Network data center Administrator to maintain computer and network systems. This is a direct hire / perm role in Dallas. The right individual should have the desire to work in a security first environment. This role is the primary point of contact for employees with any issues that arise working remote and ensuring that all systems are up to date. Additional duties will be performing ongoing monitoring of system resources, network security, backups, and IT automation tasks. Will also work closely with the software development team to ensure environments are configured as needed to perform their tasks. As new needs arise, will help to design and build out new systems or technologies to support the operations of the company. This includes performing the research and planning for any hardware or software deployments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: - Provide technical support for both hardware and software-related issues for employees using company owned laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones. - Provide support of company approved applications on employee phones or tablets. - Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, installations, and migrations for hardware and software within the environment. - Provide recommendations on hardware or software to replace aging systems or improve processes for operations. - Stay on top of any potential security issues by researching and implementing patches or updates as needed. * VPN connectivity experience to spin up new customers into the system * Need someone who can manage exchange, one drive, sharepoint and take us from on prem to cloud hosted instead. Needs to know how to set up all of the group policies, We will no longer have control of the servers so need to understand backups, how to roll out applications, support teams. We are on skype and will be doing a skype to teams migration. * Will support existing environment: Routers, switches and firewalls - manage an existing environment, but need to patch and keep it maintained and protected as we spin up other customers. They have to go out every morning, look at the optimization and see how we need to optimize database, need to run anti virus, update with patches, etc. Some of them have patches that have not been updated and maintained. Need someone who knows how to look at the health of a system and make decisions to get it updated based on what it needs. - Maintain the network by monitoring for issues related to bandwidth, security, or connectivity. - Maintain the configuration and documentation of the various hardware/software components within the environment. - Assist customers with support related to connectivity of products and services. - Keep track of assets and maintenance contract renewals for software and hardware systems. - Be available for on-call during outages or other major issues that may arise. - Respond immediately to security or usability concerns and resolve help desk requests. - Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team working closely with product owners and developers. - Interacts positively with employees of all levels of the organization. - All other responsibilities as assigned. REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILL: - Three (+) years' experience as a Windows based environment System Administrator/Network Administrator role. * Network experience - support of routeres, switches, firewalls, optimization efforts - patches, antivirus, checking and implementing what is needed to maintain health of systems. etc - Three (+) years' experience with Office 365 based services. -Three (+) years' experience with Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policies. - Three (+) years' experience with Android/iOS device management. - Three (+) years' experience working in a secure environment. RECOMMENDED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILL: - Experience migrating from on-premises to cloud, including Office 365 is a plus - Experience with Microsoft System Center is a plus - Experience with Microsoft Skype for Business/Teams is a plus - Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities. OTHER KNOWLEDGE/SKILL: - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Healthcare IT Experience is a plus. - Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations is highly valued. - Mandatory HIPAA Certification upon hiring (company paid). EDUCATION: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is required. certifications are a plus. - Microsoft, Azure/AWS, VMWare, Cisco certification(s) are a plus.
