Randstad is currently working with a client that is looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanic. They are located in Alsip, IL (60803. Hours- 2nd shift Monday thru Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm 3rd shift- Sunday thru Thursday 11pm-7:30am Pay Rate-$32-$40 hourly DOE Responsibilities Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions Report other safety concerns to a supervisor. Perform design and fabrication of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, controls, control related equipment/instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner to ensure continuity of operations, and which Supports the continuous improvement process within the facility. Troubleshoot, diagnose, plan and repair equipment as required. Determines materials, replacement parts, and Tools/parts needed to proceed with logical approach to repairs, maintenance and rebuilds. This would include PLC Program troubleshooting, reprogramming, and instrumentation repair. Performs PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control level diagnosis by monitoring PLC programs and installs, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs major electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems and peripheral Reads complex electronic, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, electrical wiring diagrams and shop drawings for the Purpose of installation, troubleshooting and repairing of major systems and minor subsystems and components. Installs electrical conduit and wiring for electrical circuits. Performs electrical installations in compliance with the national electrical code. Performs soldering on electronic components and mechanical repairs as required. Performs preventive maintenance through inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, equipment Set-up, adjust, calibrate, and operate equipment; perform layout and bench work; inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, Repair, rebuild, assemble, weld, install and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including but not limited to, use of all PPE, ensuring Guards and safety features are working. May train others on maintenance activities, including but not limited to preventative maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned.
