Project Execution: Manage the planning, design, and construction oversight of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facility projects.Interface directly with clients on technical aspects of the project and ensure client satisfaction.Perform complex detailed design engineering calculations to ensure project accuracy and compliance. Client Relationship Management: Identify key client interests and drivers for projects and develop approaches to accommodate their concerns.Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members effectively.Support business development activities through the development of technical approaches, scopes of work, and client presentations. Engineering Expertise: Apply advanced engineering concepts and principles to resolve complex water and wastewater treatment challenges.Ensure all design products are in compliance with engineering codes, regulations, and company policies.Provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff and foster their professional development. Project Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, regulatory agencies, and vendors.Attend and lead meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project goals, site assessments, and coordination needs.Collaborate with project managers to execute projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Technical Skills: Proficient in the design and operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.Experience with advanced treatment technologies, underground conveyance, and carbon-neutral solutions.Knowledge of water/wastewater master planning, design, and construction best practices.Knowledge and understanding of engineering design principles, applicable design guides, and industry standards. Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare engineering reports, design drawings, and technical specifications.Effectively present technical ideas and approaches to support project proposals and client engagements.Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment through clear and concise communication. Leadership and Management: Assist in the professional development and mentorship of engineering staff.Support performance management processes, recognition, and corrective actions.Implement resource management strategies to optimize project outcomes.
