We are seeking a motivated Production Team Lead to oversee our daily manufacturing operations. You will be the "bridge" between management and the production floor, ensuring that our cleaning and packing lines run smoothly, safely, and at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities Line Supervision: Lead a team of production associates in the cleaning, sorting, pasteurization, and vacuum-packing of corn husks. Quality & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to USDA, BRC, and organic certification standards. Ensure all products meet our vacuum-seal and shelf-life requirements. Workflow Optimization: Monitor production rates and adjust staffing on the line to hit daily quotas and reduce downtime. Training: Onboard new team members on equipment operation (pasteurizers, vacuum sealers) and safety protocols. Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs for production output, equipment maintenance, and food safety inspections. Maintenance Support: Identify and report machine malfunctions early to prevent production delays. Qualifications Qualified candidates must have worked in a manufacturing setting for at least 3 to 4 years • (English/Spanish) • Use of computer, printer and office equipment • Knowledge of Excel • Basic math (add, substract, multiply, divide, percentage) • Use of processing and measuring equipment and tools • Excellent record keeping, reporting, and documenting • Good command of units of measurement • Ability to communicate • Understand and provide instructions via verbal or written • Read and understand work instructions, work records, work rules, work policies, work and equipment/tool manuals, including food safety rules, and worker safety rules. • Understand material/ingredient rotation protocols i.e. firs in first out • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities • Ability to resolve issues at hand Interested candidates should submit their resumesalary: $45,000 - $48,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Qualified candidates must have worked in a manufacturing setting for at least 3 to 4 years; lead, train, and assign specific tasks to a crew from 8 to 20 associates; ensure all ingredients, materials, tools and equipment are ready for start up; ensure production objectives for the day in their assigned area (Kitchen, Assembly, Packaging, or Meat/Cakes) are attained; verify and report quantities, lbs., batches, packs, cartons, etc. every hour both on boards and on paper; input production information in computer; lead by example by following all GMP's, food safety and general safety guidelines along with work rules; able to instill cooperation, understanding, and teamwork; will report directly to the Supervisor in Shift.
