Summary of Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee department operations, including two Install Coordinators and field staff. This involves managing P&L, budgets, and job profitability for all installation and service work. You will frequently collaborate across departments (Sales, Design, Production) and directly with customers to resolve issues and deliver successful project completion. Key Responsibilities Department Leadership: Lead and manage the Installation and Service team, promoting a culture of quality and performance. Financial Management: Direct department P&L, budgets, and ensure optimal job profitability. Operational Oversight: Manage job scheduling, coordinate estimates, verify work order accuracy, and ensure teams have the necessary materials and equipment. Technical & Quality Assurance: Provide expert technical support, perform quality control inspections on large installations, and stay current on industry best practices. Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and operations of the vehicle fleet. Customer Satisfaction: Proactively resolve customer complaints and promote/sell service offerings (e.g., Lighted Signs Services). Required Qualifications Experience: 15+ years of Sign industry knowledge required. Minimum of five years of management experience in construction and customer service. Skills: strong management and leadership capabilities. Expertise in Construction, Electrical, and Fleet Management. Proven strength in mathematical/engineering concepts (e.g., wind load, tensile strength). Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
