We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling precision mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards specific to the aerospace industry. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings. Perform drilling, riveting, bolting, and torqueing per standard aerospace procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy through inspections and tests. Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including non-conformance reporting. Collaborate with quality assurance, engineering, and logistics to resolve assembly issues. Adhere strictly to aerospace safety, regulatory, and quality standards including AS9100, FAA, or NASA guidelines as applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or a regulated industry. strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with precision components. Ability to work from engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes and procedures.
