Randstad is hiring a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team in Glendale, WI. In this role, you will leverage your industrial, hands-on machine repair experience to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You will utilize your mechanical background, basic electrical knowledge, and familiarity with extrusion operations to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical plant equipment.salary: $54,000 - $62,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Inspect, listen to, and diagnose machine malfunctions. Test equipment operation immediately following repairs. Specialized Machinery: Successfully maintain and repair specific facility equipment, including extruders, air compressors, blenders, and loaders. Preventive Maintenance: Complete a minimum of two (2) preventive maintenance work orders per month. Safety Compliance: Perform at least one annual Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) inspection and strictly adhere to all plant safety protocols. Systems Knowledge: Apply a foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the facility. Tool Proficiency: Safely operate standard power hand tools (drills, saws, cutting tools, etc.). Inventory & Requisitions: Help identify required spare parts for equipment repairs and properly fill out parts requisitions. Availability: Remain available for occasional evening or weekend "call-outs" as production needs require. Other Duties: Assist with alternative manufacturing tasks and general plant duties as assigned.
