Unloads freight carriers and signs freight bills of lading (requires forklift experience). Maintain orderly placement of delivered packages in the receiving department. Perform and maintain accurate database updates for incoming parts and sub-assemblies. Works with the department resolve product concerns. Conducts accurate inventories by updating inventory records, performing inventory reconciliation, filing, database management and customer service. Review and maintain paper or computer records for accuracy of information and compliance with inventory procedures. Perform periodic inventories, including cycle-counting programs. Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends corrective/preventive actions to resolve such discrepancies. Delivers product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel. Changes inventory locations, when necessary, assigns, maintains BIN locations. Handles deliveries and pickups of products.
