As a Leave Management Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our employees navigating leave and absence programs. From the initial request to the return-to-work transition, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of leave claims. Guidance & Compliance: Provide expert information regarding Leave of Absence policies, guidelines, and current legislation. Documentation: Ensure all HR records, case management systems, and transactional updates are accurate and confidential. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Payroll and Benefits to ensure accurate pay and enrollment during leave periods. Return-to-Work Coordination: Authorize returns based on physician documentation, departmental restrictions, and job requirements. Service Excellence: Maintain a professional, service-focused approach to ensure a positive employee experience. Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years in leave management, employee benefits, or a high-volume call/service center environment. Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; exposure to HRIS or case management technologies (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow). Communication: Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to practice attentive listening and probing questions.
