Apply today, Start next week!!The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production at the guidance of Machine Operator 2 and above.Hours and Pay: 5 to 6 days a week! 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm $17.57 per hour plus overtime3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am $17.57 per hour plus overtime Responsibilities: Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards.Adjust machine components, machine tension, and pressure according to requirements of each product.Remove finished items from the machine and separate rejected items.Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment, such as opening valves or setting guides.Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pileups, jams, or glue that isn't sticking properly.
