This position is temp to hire and in an office setting. The Medical Front Desk Associate is responsible for managing the front desk and providing administrative support in a healthcare setting. Key duties include greeting patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient records, answering phone calls, and ensuring the office runs efficiently. They act as the primary point of contact for patients, playing a crucial role in patient experience and communication with staff. salary: $18 - $19 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Patient and visitor interaction: Greet patients, answer questions, and assist with administrative tasks. Appointment management: Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, while also notifying providers of patient arrivals and minimizing patient stress. Administrative support: Manage patient records, handle filing and data entry, maintain office supplies, and process payments and insurance information. Communication: Answer phone calls and emails, route clinical calls to the appropriate staff, and coordinate communication between patients and medical staff. Record and data management: Create and update patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure strict patient confidentiality in accordance with regulations like HIPAA. Office organization: Keep the waiting and reception areas clean and inviting, and ensure the front desk operates smoothly.
