In this role, you will provide exceptional patient service both in person and over the phone, ensuring a seamless experience. Responsibilities include accurately obtaining and reviewing patient demographic and insurance information, verifying coverage, and collecting payments. You will manage patient communications across various channels, efficiently schedule appointments, and process medical record requests. Collaborating with clinical staff, you'll ensure optimal patient care while performing essential clerical and patient service duties to maintain efficient office operations. This is a "floating position", where the employee will be assigned to a home office- Marietta, and will travel on an as needed basis to other offices.This position also provides a monthly travel stipend. This positions territory covers: Cartersville, Cumming, and Douglasville.salary: $34,320 - $37,440 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Provides exceptional patient service in person and over the phone. Interviews patients and/or their representatives to gather complete and accurate demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing and collections. Performs various clerical and patient service duties to maintain efficient office operations. Manages multiple phone lines, schedules appointments, assists with medical records requests, enters patient information, and processes patient payments. Exhibits a high level of professionalism and delivers excellent customer service. Accurately obtains and reviews patient demographic and insurance information. Verifies insurance coverage and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances. Ensures all patient intake forms are completed and signed. Manages patient communications across multiple channels, including phone lines, Solution Reach Conversations Messaging Portal, email, and fax. Schedules patient appointments efficiently. Processes medical record requests in accordance with established policies and procedures. Collaborates with clinical staff to ensure an optimal patient experience.
