Your core responsibilities will involve overseeing the daily operations of contract carriers, which includes maintaining their schedules, monitoring routes and reports, and cultivating positive relationships with carriers and their helpers. You'll also be instrumental in developing and mentoring staff, training them on company policies and procedures, and carrying out essential managerial duties like interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues. Ensuring compliance with all corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programs is key.
