Supervisor, New Business Underwriting- Voluntary Benefits Responsible for supervising the daily workflow, which includes data entry of applications, customer calls/emails, application misquotes, system setup errors, policy, adverse letters, medical questionnaires, and state forms being mailed. Provides exceptional quality customer service to our agents, applicants, internal staff, and management. Currently, I supervise a team of nine. Underwriting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Underwriting team with a strong focus on quality and timeliness. They will review exceptions and make determinations based on established Underwriting rules and procedures. Individual will schedule, prioritize and assign work for optimum productivity.
