We are seeking a highly motivated Label-Printing Shift Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all printing operations and personnel during your assigned shift. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of press operators to achieve daily production goals and ensure quality standards are met. Train and develop your team on proper printing procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and team-oriented work environment. Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs for printing and inspection equipment, minimizing downtime. Review and approve printed materials to ensure quality and minimize waste. Maintain accurate records, including employee attendance and performance evaluations. Coordinate with other departments and shift leaders to maximize efficiency. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain printing and inspection equipment. Continuously improve processes to reduce costs and improve workflow. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (preferred) 7-10 years of experience in flexographic printing, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience Good understanding of all aspects of printing, including substrates, adhesives, inks, and prepress work (helpful) Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills Excellent communication, planning, and scheduling abilities Good mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and overcome challenges Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Must be able to work a 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for printing and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply! Establish guidelines to review employee compliance to established procedures and techniques. Establish and review all production schedules for printing to insure all necessary equipment and consumables are present for the production of work. Work with customer service and pre-press supervisor to maintain constant quality and communication from shift to shift to met customer expectations. Schedule preventative maintenance general and major repairs on all printing and inspection equipment and coordinate those repairs with the plant manager and the department to insure minimal downtime to meet production needs. Conduct and / or attend all required meetings. Review and approve all printed material to insure quality and reduce spoilage. Maintain a safe work environment through compliance with set policy. Improve current methods, processes or conditions so as to reduce manufacturing costs Maintain accurate record keeping for employee attendance. Evaluate employee performance through regular performance appraisals and assist with improving skill levels and proficiency. Interview potential employees as required.
