Confirm appointments with patients via phone, email, or text. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. Obtain necessary pre-authorizations or referrals. Assist patients with insurance-related questions. Maintain organized patient charts and electronic health records (EHR). Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take messages accurately. Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues courteously and efficiently. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. Proficiency with medical office software (e.g., EHR systems, scheduling software).
