A national healthcare research association in Washington, DC is searching for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the DC team, supporting the SVP of Comms and Comms leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Executive Assistant to join a skilled and dedicated team, working in a fast-paced and collaborate environment. The ideal candidate will have heavy calendar management experience, work well in a collaborative environment managing multiple projects and priorities, and comfortable handling internal and external communications. This role is DC-based, hybrid 3 days in office, centrally located in Chinatown. Contract to hire opportunity with an early July start date - salary upon conversion is $87-91,000. salary: $36 - $40 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 9 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Executive & Team Support: Serves as the primary gatekeeper and ambassador for the SVP by screening calls, mail, and visitors. Manages the SVP's complex calendar, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics, while providing secondary administrative and scheduling support to the Group VP and department leaders. Communications & Document Control: Prepares, drafts, and reviews correspondence, reports, and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint decks, meeting materials). Handles sensitive information with strict confidentiality and accurately transcribes and distributes meeting minutes. Budget & Vendor Management: Partners with department heads and VPs to review budgets, monitor status, and process invoices efficiently. Serves as the point person for maintaining vendor contracts for the Communications team. Strategic Coordination & Awareness: Plans and coordinates all logistics for board meetings, committee presentations, and speaking engagements. Stays highly informed on organizational activities and business units under the SVP's line of sight to manage priorities and deliverables.
