Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk with proven sit-down forklift experience. This role is responsible for accurately handling inbound and outbound shipments, operating within warehouse inventory systems, and moving materials safely and efficiently—even in tight spaces. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Prepare, pack, label, and document outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements. Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse, including tight and confined areas. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials using inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, or similar platforms). Stage materials for production or shipping and organize inventory in designated storage locations. Conduct cycle counts and assist with regular physical inventories. Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate logistics and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving role. Valid forklift certification and experience operating a sit-down forklift in tight warehouse spaces. Familiarity with inventory systems (ERP or WMS experience preferred). Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and basic computer literacy. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
