Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date. Maintain a secure and organized database of medical records for easy retrieval. Communication with Healthcare Providers: Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals. Communicate effectively to obtain necessary medical information, including narrative reports, expert opinions, and billing details. Case Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys to analyze and understand the medical aspects of cases. Assist in the development of case strategies based on medical evidence. Prepare medical summaries and chronologies to facilitate case preparations. Expert Witness Coordination: Identify and coordinate expert witnesses in medical cases. Assist attorneys in preparing experts for depositions and trial testimony. Ensure that all expert opinions and reports are obtained and properly documented. Legal Research: Conduct research on medical issues related to cases. Keep abreast of changes in medical laws and regulations that may impact legal cases. Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks related to medical record management, such as data entry and filing. Schedule and coordinate medical examinations, depositions, and court appearances.
