Your role will include: Procurement Management Process purchase orders (POs), from requisition receipt to supplier confirmation. Monitor lead times, track open orders, and proactively resolve delays. Vendor Relations & Negotiation Identify and vet suppliers of medical-grade components. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure optimal value. Inventory & Cost Control Track inventory levels, flag shortages or surplus, and coordinate with production teams. Analyze purchasing trends and recommend cost-saving strategies. Operational Coordination Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance to align procurement with project timelines and budget. Recordkeeping & Compliance Maintain accurate, compliant records for POs, contracts, pricing, and vendor performance. Support internal/external audits, ensuring purchasing follows protocols. Continuous Improvement Suggest and implement process improvements—such as ERP procurement tools or supplier scorecards.
