job summary: The IT Portfolio Manager manages the IT solutions for his/her designated functional area, in this case, the Data Portfolio within Business IT Solutions, with a focus on data platforms. The IT Portfolio Manager has accountability for all aspects of their program - solution fit to business needs, user acceptance and adoption, security, technical soundness and robustness, ROI/cost, time to delivery, prioritization of features, etc. This role creates the technology roadmap for their area and submits budget requests for the needed projects to achieve the objectives for the area. This specific position will be responsible for Data Platform Operations and DBA Manager for the Data Portfolio, which will focus on the delivery of relational database services (e.g. SQL Server), data warehouse service (e.g. Snowflake), data integration (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory), data replication, reporting (e.g. SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos), monitoring (e.g. SentryOne, SCOM, Idera, RedGate), and data security as well as contributing to the roadmap for digital transformation to cloud data warehouses, advance data visualization, and adoption of highly scalable tools and processes.
