We look forward to speaking with you! location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $155,000 - 177,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Take the lead in process engineering design for chemical facilities, including LNG, carbon capture, hydrogen, fertilizers (ammonia, urea, etc.), gasification, fermentation, sulfur recovery, gas treatment, biofuels, processing, and NGL recovery and fractionation.Prepare a range of moderately complex process engineering deliverables, such as simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, MSDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, instrument data, relief valve calculations, complex control descriptions, and cause & effect diagrams.Conduct in-depth research and provide recommendations for equipment and material selection.Lead the implementation of solutions across the project life cycle, from feasibility to FEL stages, FEED, detailed design, EPC, and commissioning.Serve as a technical specialist, offering consultation and guidance to project teams within your area of expertise.Actively understand client interests and drivers through regular client contact and effective communication with project leadership.Provide support for business development or pursuit activities as required. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in LNG liquefaction design or operations.Proficiency in process simulation packages such as PRO II, Promax, Protreat, HYSYS, and similar tools.Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and relevant design guides and standards related to your specific engineering discipline.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.strong drive for results, quality focus, and the ability to prioritize tasks and set objectives.Demonstrated proficiency in written communications, priority setting, planning, delegation, conflict management, informing, listening, dealing with ambiguity, and building effective teams.Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.Professional Engineer registration or licensure is preferred, or willingness/ability to pursue such registration.
