Reporting directly to the AP Manager, you will play a critical role in scaling the department. You will supervise a dedicated team of 10 AP Specialists, overseeing a high-volume workflow of approximately 8,000 invoices per week. As they continue to grow, you will also assist in hiring and onboarding several additional AP Specialists to expand your team. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and review the work of 10 AP Specialists to ensure accuracy and productivity.Workflow Management: Oversee the processing of 8,000+ invoices weekly, ensuring timely payments and resolution of discrepancies.Approvals: Review and approve payment batches and individual invoice entries.Reconciliations: Perform complex vendor statement reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline high-volume workflows to support additional company growth.Reporting: Support the AP Manager with weekly financial reporting and department KPIs. qualifications: Experience: Prior experience as an AP Lead, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager is required.High-Volume Expertise: Proven ability to manage large-scale invoice processing (thousands weekly).Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite and Bill.com is highly preferred.Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of reviewing and improving the work of others.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
