In search of a detail-oriented, smart, kind person who can work well with both patients and providers in a family mental and behavioral health services office. Ideal candidate should be skilled at working with computers/email/billing software, be willing and like to continually learn, take and give feedback well, have a team-player mentality, have attention to detail, good problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to follow through with tasks. Candidate should be comfortable with collecting and posting payments in software, scheduling appointments for patients, and coordinating paperwork at the front desk while providing a welcoming presence to patients and families in the office and over the phone.salary: $41,600 - $45,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 6 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesPatient care responsibilities: -- Assisting patients with their questions and concerns following office protocols and policies -- Scheduling patients for 20+ providers -- Sending and managing new patient paperwork online and in person when not completed online -- Assisting patients with setting up patient portal account where they can access health care and billing documents -- Answering multiline phone and relay messages to providers in the office (21 providers) -- Checking in new patients, orienting them to office and teaching them how to use our provider button notification system Administrative Responsibilities: -- give follow up rating scales to clients as needed -- give school excuses as needed -- scan, download, and upload paper documents and/or online documents to EMR -- assist with insurance information and questions Billing Responsibilities: -- enter charges into EMR billing software system with accurate coding and billing amounts -- post collected payments into EMR billing software -- enter new patient demographic and insurance information into EM online billing software -- collect payments at time of visit —checks, cash, or credit card -- Mail statements and assist with collecting payments (call for updated credit card information, etc.) -- take deposits to bank occasionally Misc: -- work very closely with office manager to make sure the office continually improves and flows as well as possibleSkillsOral CommunicationHandling Confidential InformationScheduling AppointmentsMaintaining CalendarsAnswering PhonesOrganizationMicrosoft OfficeWritten CommunicationAdministrative DutiesQualificationsYears of experience: 1 yearExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
