job summary: Our client in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects throughout the region. This individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a project, ensuring that every build is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a role for a leader who excels in fast-paced environments and enjoys the challenge of managing multiple moving parts from pre-construction through project closeout. location: ALPHARETTA, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: The Project Manager serves as the primary lead for the project team, overseeing all phases of construction from initial planning and budgeting to final delivery. This individual is responsible for budget development, cost tracking, and financial reporting, ensuring that projects maintain profitability and fiscal accountability. The role involves developing and maintaining master project schedules, coordinating with field superintendents to meet or exceed critical milestones. The Project Manager oversees the buyout process, manages subcontractor agreements, and processes change orders and RFIs with precision. This person acts as the main point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates and resolving challenges proactively. The Project Manager ensures that all on-site activities comply with safety regulations and meet the firm's rigorous quality benchmarks. Qaulifications: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management is required (retail or "big box" experience is highly preferred). A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. The candidate must be proficient in construction management software such as Procore and scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera. Proven experience managing diverse project teams and subcontractors while maintaining professional client relationships. The individual must possess a deep understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and MEP systems.
