We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Agile Project Manager Lead to join our Travel, Accident and Health business unit to help develop and expand its platform to support existing and new business lines. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software projects using Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams. * This position is a hybrid role at our Hunt, Valley, MD office. The ideal candidate must be able to report to the office twice a week. * location: Hunt Valley, Maryland job type: Permanent salary: $140,000 - 150,000 per year work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead and manage cross-functional Agile team in the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within the Accident and Health Insurance business unit.Apply Agile principles and methodologies to establish project frameworks, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment among team members.Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring that the product backlog is well-defined and managed.Develop and maintain project plans, including sprint backlogs, burn-down charts, and other Agile project management artifacts, to track progress and ensure project transparency.Coordinate and allocate resources, both internally and externally, to ensure that project tasks are assigned and completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve impediments, bottlenecks, and risks that may impact project delivery.Monitor and report project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management, and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Agile teams, promoting feedback, learning, and adaptation to optimize project delivery.Collaborate with other Agile Project Managers and stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure cross-team coordination and integration.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Agile project management, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
