We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to manage the intake of raw materials and industrial supplies for our Frankfort manufacturing facility. You will be the "gatekeeper" of our inventory, ensuring that everything entering the building is accurate, undamaged, and properly documented to keep our production lines running smoothly.salary: $22 - $23 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 12:30 AMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Shipment Verification: Unload incoming freight and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading. Quality Inspection: Inspect all incoming materials for damage or defects; document and report discrepancies to the Purchasing and Quality departments. Data Entry: Use inventory management software to log received goods and maintain real-time inventory accuracy. Material Movement: Safely operate a forklift or pallet jack to transport materials from the loading dock to the correct storage locations or production cells. Documentation: Maintain organized files of all shipping/receiving paperwork, including safety documentation for incoming materials. Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere to all facility safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace on the loading dock. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations. Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email); experience with barcode scanners is preferred. Equipment: Must be comfortable operating a forklift. Previous certification is a plus. Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift. Mindset: strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
