We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our clients dynamic team, a leading provider in the alcohol beverage industry. In this role, you will be responsible for monthly general ledger account reconciliations, financial reporting, and incentive program tracking, as well as assisting with month-end financial closing and analysis. Prepare monthly supplier bank reconciliations. Assist with month-end financial report closing, and prepare financial statements and analysis of expenses vs. budget. Track and process incentive and sales commission programs, ensuring accurate payouts. Analyze GL expenses vs. prior year and report fluctuations to the executive team. Prepare monthly P&L reports for the Juice Department. Process incentive payouts, verify calculations, and manage supplier bill-backs. Review and reconcile accruals, and prepare necessary journal entries. Process monthly revenue, PST, and commission payouts for payroll submission. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a beverage or consumer goods industry. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software (experience with ERP systems preferred). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and address discrepancies and fluctuations. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
