What you get to do:Strategic Compensation Partner (30%) The first point of contact for the Regional HR team of Global businesses, as well as for the local OpCo’s (e.g. HR, Reward, Payroll, Finance).As a Compensation Manager it will be critical to ensure operational alignment and partnership with key stakeholders including HRBPs, Business Leaders, Finance, HR Data & Analytics, Managers & Employees. Clear and concise communication with all parties to facilitate sound compensation decision making and operations. Work closely with Finance and Business leaders to ensure understanding of plan design modeling, as well as plan effectiveness. This role should have existing base pay and STI modeling experience, across a wide variety of roles, to provide real time scenario planning with leaders. Strong financial and business acumen will be key to success in this role. Specific focus on managing data quality between systems and enabling sound reward decisions with the core salary and bonus schemes accurately tracked and paid on time. Annual Process Leader (20%) Thoughtful planning with proactive communication and excellent execution around all annual cycles will be a critical function of this role. This role will also require you to communicate clearly and effectively to different stakeholder groups what is expected from them (e.g. to managers / leaders, all employees, HRBPs, etc.). Communication is both one to one, in meetings and through corporate communication channels during the Salary Review and Bonus processes. Effectively influence and hold partners accountable during reward cycle processes. This role will lead annual Compensation cycles for Enterprise NAM and where required, support globally, including salary review and bonus processes including Non-Financial KPIs. Leveraging different HR information systems and ticketing systems. Global Rewards Alignment (30%) Under the direction of the Global and Local Rewards leaders this role will have a key accountability to manage Rewards policies and documents for both guidance and internal communications. Additionally, will be responsible for ensuring compliance and aligning decisions guided by Reward policies as well as local legal requirements. This will require influencing with a personal perspective and deep understanding of multinational company Compensation Management experience. This position will serve as the NAM representative in global discussions and provide project ownership and leadership. Success will be measured by understanding the business as well as compensation practices at a level which will enable timely engagement and steering of critical topics to ensure alignment across countries and full understanding of both financial and employee impact. Key point of contact for Compensation expertise for all global projects including Global Job Catalog and Workday transition for NAM Enterprise. This will involve working in partnership with global counterparts and work hours may vary from outside of the US standard working hours. Compensation Expert (20%) Be the regional expert with regard to Rewards, which (among other things) covers salary benchmarking and grading. Meaning that whenever there is a new role, primary alignment is with the Global Job Catalog for the majority of roles within the organization. History of market pricing is important expertise, but utilizing current tools to provide sound advice is most critical. This role will be the first person to dive in for pay inquiries to understand and advise HR and business leaders. This not only includes grading itself, but also reviewing the process and contributing to finding ways to always improve. This role will be responsible for both pay equity and market competitiveness understanding within the NAM region. Additionally will require the skillset to negotiate and represent the needs of the business while balancing external market factors and ensuring compliance.
