Staff Supervision: Hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Safety Compliance: Ensuring the warehouse adheres to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Process Optimization: Analyzing and improving warehouse processes for efficiency, including layout, workflows, and technology use. Order Fulfillment: Coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Budget Management: Monitoring warehouse operating costs and helping to manage the budget to ensure financial efficiency. Supplier Coordination: Working with suppliers and vendors to manage incoming shipments and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Reporting: Generating reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and other key performance indicators to inform management decisions. Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operational. Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries and issues related to order fulfillment and delivery.
