In this role, you will be the driving force behind our safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, lead Kaizen events, and develop a high-performing team aligned with operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Champion a zero-incident culture through daily audits, behavior-based observations, and OSHA compliance. Production & Delivery: Execute daily production plans, maximize labor efficiency, minimize downtime, and manage resource allocation to hit KPI targets. Lean & Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen events (Quality Circles) and drive the implementation of Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Flow/Pull). Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and lead root-cause analysis (DMAIC, 5 Why, Fishbone) to reduce defects and scrap. People Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop team leads and operators. Conduct daily Gemba walks and Tier meetings to drive accountability. Reporting: Track and report SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) KPIs and collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering. Qualifications Experience: 3 to 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. Lean Expertise: Background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and leading Kaizen/Quality Circle events. Quality Systems: Solid knowledge of quality systems, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC. Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, data interpretation, technical reading, and people leadership abilities. Work Environment & Schedule Details Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!). General hours are 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM (or as needed to support shift handoffs). Location: Must have reliable, daily transportation to our Grand Prairie, TX facility. Environment: Our facility utilizes heavy machinery and involves exposure to dust.
