organization is the highest ranking major staffing firm on the list

ATLANTA  – May 08, 2023 – For the fifth consecutive year, Randstad USA has been recognized by DiversityInc as a top 50 company for diversity - earning 19th place in 2023. This year’s ranking is a result of the measurable steps the organization has taken to ensure each person feels a sense of belonging in their work.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of DiversityInc’s Top 50 companies for Diversity and Inclusion," said Randstad North America Chief Executive Officer Traci Fiatte. “Impacting Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility (EDI&A) requires a combination of bold ideas, concrete and tangible goals and swift action. Organizations successfully fostering EDI&A are coupling commitments with real accountability to see change.”

On top of the primary designation, Randstad is thrilled to feature in the following DiversityInc specialty lists:

  • Top Companies for Black Executives
  • Top Companies for Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)
  • Top Companies for Executive Diversity Councils
  • Top Companies for Philanthropy
  • Top Companies for Talent Acquisition for Women of Color
  • Top Companies for Veterans

These recognitions come shortly after   Randstad’s March release of its second annual Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDI&A) report. The report includes a comprehensive EDI&A strategy overview, stories and spotlights that reiterate the specific actions that Randstad has taken to create a more diverse workforce.

Examples of Randstad’s EDI&A initiatives and accomplishments in 2022 include:

  • Added two additional Business Resource Groups with frameworks designed to expand representation and help all individuals reach their personal and professional goals.
  • Joined the Second Chance Business Coalition to hire and provide career advancement opportunities for people with criminal records.
  • Appointed a Global Chief Equity Officer and Global Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Established a Global Diversity Council (GDC).

While Randstad is proud of last year’s accomplishments, the road to building a diverse workforce is a constant journey. Nobody understands this better than North American Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Floss Aggrey.

“Effective EDI&A programs are multi-faceted,” said Aggrey. “Priorities should expand with the changing needs of your organization and provide stakeholders with visibility into all areas impacting EDI&A to drive meaningful solutions and foster long-term results.”
