The client — a large group of insurance and financial services companies with over 70,000 employees in the U.S. — relied on its Alpharetta, Georgia, campus to receive, process, scan and index insurance documents in a tight time frame. But limited working stations on the campus and the need for in-depth employee training jeopardized these functions — and the organization turned to Randstad Inhouse Services as a trusted talent partner for help.


After aligning with the client on goals, Randstad Inhouse Services quickly got to work implementing Relevate Schedule — our proprietary scheduling and communication tool. To expedite the onboarding process and help the client achieve its goals, we sent an onsite team to lead orientation sessions for new hires, drive adoption and train small groups of two to 10 workers on how to get the most value out of the tool. Finally, we established an ongoing communication schedule with talent in order to review shifts and focus on week-toweek goals.


In the course of a few short months, participation in Relevate Schedule rapidly increased, coinciding with substantial performance and productivity gains for the client. Highlights include:

  • improving overall production output by 26 percent
  • driving 50 percent employee participation in the first six weeks, and sustaining more than 70 percent employee participation from the 12-month mark onward
  • realizing an average attendance rate of 98.31 percent while reducing the average number of weekly absences from 12.4 to 5.85 — a reduction of over 52 percent
