Tatum is engaged with a Portland based Private Equity backed small market client that is in need of a strong local accounting support resource while the PE firm completes a new acquisition. responsibilities:
- Work with client integration leader in executing the playbook
- Converting from cash to accrual / Cash forecasting / Collections management
- (Systems Conversion) Client wants to bring in resources shortly before close or just after to parachute in and quickly convert to their ERP.
- Objective would be to keep the businesses day to day accounting in order and to convert them as quickly as possible to the client's systems and processes.
- Lead the current small accounting team consisting of individual contributors
- (Process implementation) Client has an integration playbook and an integration leader that will PM the initiative, but they need the accounting team to execute.
qualifications:
Nice to Have:
- Construction / Services industry experience
- Post acquisition accounting
- Must be a "doer" and able to dig into the details and execute at a tactical level as well as strategic with regards to integration
- Will need to be seasoned and experienced with rebuilding and integrating accounting from an M&A perspective.
- Knowledge of Spectrum
- Client uses SalesForce and Paylocity
- Expect this to be a 90-120 day project
- Potential for interim to perm candidate
- Must be onsite 4 to 5 days a week long term
