Finance Manager
A biopharmaceutical solutions company, on a mission to improve lives through quality, innovation, and integrity, seeks a Finance Manager who is a QuickBooks SME, as well as a builder, mentor, and change agent. This person will report directly to the CFO and play a key leadership role in the finance team while combining tactical accounting duties with team supervision, process transformation, and system optimization.

responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Serve as the QuickBooks Online (QBO) subject matter expert - manage configurations, troubleshoot issues, and train others on optimal usage.
- Ensure bills are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Establish and monitor financial workflows, closing schedules, and reporting timelines.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, setting performance goals and ensuring accountability.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting, cost control, and audit preparation.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a high-performing, future-ready finance department.
- Partner with executive leadership and our external financial consultant to align department activities with broader organizational goals.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a strong plus)
At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online, including implementation or optimization
Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and internal controls
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
