Tatum is hiring a strategic and hands-on FP&A Manager for a critical 6-month assignment for a large manufacturing client.
Reporting to the Controller and partnering closely with the VP/CFO, the FP&A Manager will serve as a lead financial architect. You will translate business strategy into actionable financial plans for a high-growth environment.

responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic goals and operational realities.
- Infrastructure Building: Establish a dedicated FP&A framework, including the creation of financial models, reporting dashboards, and standardized KPIs for a local leadership team.
- Operational Partnership: Act as a financial advisor to the VP/CFO, providing deep-dive analysis on product profitability, cost containment, and margin improvement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Consolidate financial data to produce monthly reporting packages, providing clear variance commentary (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) for internal stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion "Lean" methodologies by participating in activities to streamline financial processes, eliminate waste, and improve reporting accuracy.
qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel. Experience with ERP systems and enterprise planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, or OneStream) is highly preferred.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required; an MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Soft Skills: A "consultant mindset" with the ability to work independently, translate complex data for non-financial stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture.
