Are you a dynamic operations leader with a track record of driving manufacturing excellence and building high-performing teams? We are seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Manufacturing to oversee our site operations for 6-12 months while current leadership focuses on specialized projects.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive leadership across Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure peak operational efficiency, safety, and world-class quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Operational Excellence: Lead all aspects of site operations to achieve financial and strategic objectives. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement using Lean principles to maximize profitability while maintaining top-tier quality and safety standards.
- Customer-Centric Leadership: Partner closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to support key customers, delivering exceptional customer service, innovation, and seamless project management.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute the annual operating plan, review operational performance continuously, and implement aggressive strategies for cost efficiency.
- People & Culture: Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-engagement culture. Mentor the next generation of leaders, implement robust succession planning, and build a unified, transparent team.
- Elevate Metrics: Measurably increase customer service levels while positively impacting EBITDA against budget.
- Quality & Safety: Advance continuous improvement initiatives to minimize quality incidents and optimize employee engagement and safety.
- Streamline NPI: Optimize the New Product Introduction process for flawless, rapid execution from sourcing to commercialization.
- Convert Pipeline: Work hand-in-hand with the commercial team to improve the response to customer briefs, accelerating pipeline conversion and bringing in new business.
qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
- Industry Expertise: 10+ years of progressive operations experience within an FDA-regulated environment. CPG experience Preferred.
- Proven Track Record: Deep expertise in high-volume, low-cost manufacturing environments with a history of implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Leadership Style: A pragmatic, non-bureaucratic leader with a hands-on approach, outstanding instincts, and a strong sense of urgency. Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and collaborate seamlessly across functions.
- Education: Undergraduate degree required, ideally in Engineering or Business.
